The bag signings and the poster debut at the 3 Uwajimaya locations was a success! Thanks everybody for coming out, getting a bag or 7 signed, and showing your support! I've collected a few images from all over for you to enjoy here.
The next Uwajimaya bag is in production, it had been delayed due to revisions, but will be worth the wait. I will be donating this Diptych to the Wing Luke Museum for auction March 17th, it will be a huge canvas print set. The posters of these will debut at the Emerald City Comicon on March 30th. To hold you guys over here is the artwork for it. When the bag finally comes out I'll be sure to let you know here. This illustration took over 130 hours to make, and was definitely a labour of love. There are close to 200 different items in the piece. Enjoy!
The day has come people. Uwajimaya has announced the days that they will be debuting the new enfu Niko Niko Boy Designer Bag!
Here is when the bags will debut:
Beaverton: Friday Sept. 18th
Renton: Friday Sept. 18th
Seattle: Monday Sept. 21st
Bellevue: Tuesday Sept. 22nd.
The price is $4.99 and they have only 6000 of them! Get them while the gettins good.

I was thankful that to participate in Akimatsuri 2009 put on by ENMA.
This year I was selective in what I showed, and had heavy promotional help from Uwajimaya, Ibuki, andBlue C Sushi.
I showed the Niko Niko Boy print with the help of Uwajimaya's new fall designer bag. They are a limited run of 600 and sell for $4.99 somewhere around/after September 17th. More details to follow.
Ibuki's debut magazine issue featured all the J-Chix driving people to recognize these before they even came to my booth.
Also many people mentioned they've seen enfu at Blue C both in SouthCenter and in Bellevue.
Thank you all for so much cross promotional opportunities!! Akimatsuri is one of the bigger gatherings of Japanese Nationals in this region. I would then say Bon Odori is the biggest gatherings of Nikkei people in the area.
