Sakuracon 2015

Thanks for making Sakuracon 2015 one for the record books. I enjoyed meeting every one of you who came by. We will also be here again next year!

By the 3rd day my book stock was super low, and we sold out! I really should've brought more, since many of you came back and weren't able to get one. I apologize for not being fully prepared!

I got to meet someone I admire: Sakimichan. She was super awesome, we got a picture together and she mentioned she liked my hat, so I just gave it to her. I'm happy our Enfu Snaps hats had so much appeal to many at Sakuracon, including Artists like Sakimichan! Thank you, you made my day.

Enfu x SakuraCon 2010

I had a blast at Sakura-Con.  Met lots of new people from all walks of life.  Simply observing from my corner booth I got to see what it means to have no inhibitions and see all types of people express themselves creatively.  A lot of the costumes were very well made, you could tell a lot of time and effort were put into these things.  I also saw many supportive parents chauffeur their kids, make costumes for them, and even participating with them.  Hats off to them.  Below are my choice picks of the pix from Sakura-Con.  The rest of them can be found at my Flickr Set.

Sakuracon 2009 recap

Sakuracon was like one of my new illustrations.  Color explosion.  I was blown away.

This year was my first year at Sakuracon ever, and I had an exhibitor booth.  I just watched people pass by it was amazing.  I would say more than any other place I've exhibited, Emerald City Comicon or Akimatsuri, Sakuracon by far had the most people reacting to my works.  It was a great feeling, thanks.  The most popular prints by far were 'Nihontown' and the new 'EnFuBar' prints.  The new prints will be posted in the catalogues section soon.  Until then the only place you can get them in the Seattle area is at Kobo.
