He read the comic, and in the most Takei deep dramatic voice you can imagine he said: "You put me in great company. Martin Luther King? Susan B Anthony? Gloria Steinem? And...Oh My." For me, this brief interaction of meeting a hero of mine was slightly surreal but profoundly fulfilling. I thanked him for supporting the causes he's passionate about and then went on my way. Thank you, George Takei. I wished I could've gotten you to pose with my rainbow fart prop, but you still made my day!
